More Information About the LTC Course

The Texas License to Carry (LTC) course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to carry a handgun responsibly and legally in the state of Texas. The course covers essential topics such as firearm safety, gun storage, Texas laws regarding the use of force, conflict resolution, and proper handling techniques. It includes both classroom instruction and a practical shooting proficiency test to ensure participants are competent and confident in using their firearm. Attendees must apply for their LTC through the Texas Department of Public Safety prior to the course date. The course is a vital step for anyone seeking to exercise their right to carry while maintaining safety and legal compliance. On the day of the course, bring your cash payment of $95, to be collected before the class. You will need to bring your own firearm to qualify and at least 50 rounds of ammunition.

Our next LTC course date begins at 8:30 am, Saturday April 5th, 2025 at Ennis Pawn Shop, 901 West Lake Bardwell Drive, Ennis, Texas 75119.
